Company

A producer, not a trader

Nasha Ptytsia is a poultry processing company in Ostriv, Ternopil district, operating inside the Zakhidnoukrainskyi industrial hub. Raw material arrives at our own line and leaves the site as packed product from our own cold store.

For a buyer this removes the most common risk in sourcing from Eastern Europe: you are not talking to an intermediary who books capacity somewhere else. Specifications can be changed without a third party, and delivery dates do not depend on someone else's schedule.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions from importers

What is your minimum order quantity?

One 40 ft reefer container, which is approximately 26,400 kg (26.4 tonnes) — 1,760 corrugated boxes of 15 kg each.

How many cartons fit into a 40 ft reefer container?

About 1,760 corrugated boxes of 15 kg, giving roughly 26,400 kg net. The exact load depends on the cut: whole birds, quarters and thighs pack denser than wings or fillet.

Which Incoterms do you work on?

Our standard basis is FCA Ternopil / Ostriv, Ukraine (Incoterms 2020). CPT, CIP and DAP quotations are available on request. We do not quote CIF on frozen cargo, because its minimum insurance cover does not respond to a refrigeration failure.

What documents do you issue per shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list, international veterinary certificate, certificate of origin and quality certificate. We are ready to complete any additional documentation required by the destination market.

Is the product halal or kosher certified?

The plant is not kosher-certified at present. We are prepared to organise shechita on our own line under the supervision of the competent rabbinical authority, to allocate a dedicated production line and to accommodate the required supervisory personnel at our own expense.

The plant is not halal-certified at present either. Halal certification can be arranged through a certification body nominated by the buyer.

Do you offer private label and market-specific labelling?

Yes. Cuts, calibration, glazing, packaging and labelling are adjusted to the buyer's specification, including artwork in other languages.

What are the storage conditions and shelf life?

Products are individually frozen to a core temperature of −18 °C and keep for 18 months at −18 °C to our own validated specification. The shelf life printed on the carton and the date coding are set to the requirements of the destination market, which in some countries is shorter.

What are your payment terms?

30 % advance upon order confirmation and 70 % against copies of shipping documents. An irrevocable letter of credit at sight is also acceptable. Alternative terms can be discussed for long-term contracts.

How do I get a price?

Send us the items and monthly volumes of interest together with your destination market and preferred delivery basis. We revert with a firm offer within two working days, and can also provide full product specifications, photographs and a sample shipment.
